Ingredients

For the bark
  • 16 oz white chocolate baking bars, finely chopped
  • 0.25 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 0.75 cup dried apples chopped
  • 1 cup mini pretzel twists broken into bite-size pieces
For the caramel drizzle
  • 4 oz soft caramels unwrapped
  • 2 tbsp heavy cream

Equipment

  • 1 10x15-inch rimmed baking sheet
  • 1 microwave

Method

Make the bark
  1. Line a 10x15-inch rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Put the white chocolate in a dry microwave-safe bowl and microwave at 50% power in 20-second bursts, stirring each time, until smooth, about 1 to 2 minutes; stir in the cinnamon.
  3. Spread the chocolate evenly over the parchment.
  4. Scatter the dried apples and pretzels over the chocolate and gently press them into it.
Make the caramel drizzle
  1. Combine the caramels and heavy cream in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave at 50% power in 20-second bursts, stirring each time, until smooth and pourable, about 40 to 60 seconds.
  2. Drizzle the caramel over the bark.
  3. Refrigerate for 30 to 45 minutes, until firm.
  4. Break into pieces to serve.

Notes

For the smoothest chocolate, keep the bowl completely dry. Store airtight in the refrigerator for up to 1 week; freezer-friendly. For a dairy-free version, use dairy-free white chocolate, caramels, and cream.
