Caramel Apple Sangria

Caramel apple sangria combines dry white wine, apple cider, and caramel-flavored vodka for a crisp, fruit-filled pitcher cocktail. Chilling it with sliced apples and a cinnamon stick for at least 2 hours infuses it with fall flavors.

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle (750-milliliter) dry white wine such as Pinot Grigio
  • 2 cups apple cider
  • 0.5 cup caramel-flavored vodka
  • 2 apples medium, cored and thinly sliced
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • ice for serving

Equipment

  • 1 3-quart pitcher

Method

  1. Pour the wine, apple cider, and caramel-flavored vodka into a 3-quart pitcher and stir to combine.
  2. Add the sliced apples and cinnamon stick, cover, and refrigerate for at least 2 hours and up to 8 hours.
  3. Remove the cinnamon stick.
  4. Fill glasses with ice.
  5. Pour in the sangria, dividing the apple slices among the glasses.

Notes

For the strongest apple-cinnamon flavor, chill for the full 8 hours. Refrigerate leftovers for up to 2 days; do not freeze. For a nonalcoholic variation, use nonalcoholic white wine and omit the caramel-flavored vodka.
