Ingredients

  • 8 oz sharp cheddar cheese cut into 1/2-inch cubes
  • 8 oz salami sliced
  • 2 cups grapes seedless, cut into small clusters
  • 1 cup olives pitted, drained
  • 1 cup almonds roasted
  • 24 crackers small round
  • 8 breadsticks thin

Equipment

  • 8 12-ounce clear cups
  • 1 large serving platter

Method

  1. Set 8 (12-ounce) clear cups in a row on a large serving platter, with all the openings facing the same direction.
  2. Divide the cheddar, salami, grapes, olives, and almonds evenly among the cups.
  3. Fold the salami slices and tuck the grapes between the other ingredients.
  4. Tuck 3 crackers into each cup so they fan out from the opening.
  5. Add 1 breadstick to each cup, pointing it in the same direction as the crackers to suggest a cornucopia.
  6. Serve promptly.

Notes

For the neatest presentation, assemble just before serving so the crackers stay crisp. Refrigerate leftover ingredients separately for up to 3 days; the assembled cups are not freezer-friendly. For a gluten-free option, use gluten-free crackers and breadsticks.
